Situated on a secluded hill, a stone’s throw away from the white sand beach of Cabo De Rama, lies Cabo Serai – Goa’s best kept secret. Perched on a lush cliffside overlooking the Arabian Sea Cabo Serai is an eco-luxury retreat built using eco-friendly materials, the resort embraces a rustic yet refined charm, creating a tranquil escape.

From the moment you arrive the excitement starts straight away; it’s like entering the unknown. As you walk down the 90 steps leading to the resort, between the coconut trees you get glimpses of the pristine beach below and immediately start comparing it to other places in Goa. But this place is like no other.

Take a short walk on the beach and feel the sand between your toes as you make your way to the entrance of the resort which is accessed by a small bridge over the river. As you cross the bridge, you may even notice a few herons waiting to prey on small fish. 

On arrival our resort staff will be waiting for you. The excitement starts again as you are transported by golf buggy on a bumpy but fun ride through our coconut plantations to the check in lounge. Here you will be presented with a welcome drink and cold towel which is just what you’ll need to cool down after all that excitement.

Then it’s onto your room. Nestled in the privacy of our flourishing forest our luxury cottages are spacious, airy and designed to the highest standard with an expansive deck balcony perched over lush greenery and offer spectacular views of the sea and surrounding areas. Perfect for lounging, watching the sunset or catching the first rays of the day with a cup of locally sourced organic coffee.

If you want to venture out and can manage the walk to the beach and back, instead of using the buggy then do, you won’t be disappointed as you get to see so much more. There's a small stream that runs along the boundary of the resort and an array of trees, flowers, plants, birds and huge butterflies.

The restaurant serves up a mix of Continental and Indian cuisine. Since there aren’t too many guests around, we have a set menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner which is changed daily. Lunch tends to be continental and dinner is Goan or Indian. Much of the menu is designed around what is available in our organic vegetable garden, what can be sourced locally and what is in season so you can be assured of freshly cooked meals with the freshest of ingredients.

Breakfast is a choice of a baker's basket (including locally baked Goan bread, also known as Poee) accompanied by homemade Kaju (cashew) butter, for which the state is famous. Freshly squeezed juices, eggs to order and mini-American style pancakes are delicious, whilst a cheese platter and home baked granola bars complete the feast.

Tucked away from the mainland on a lush hill Cabo Serai is a destination in itself, designed for pure relaxation.
