As soon as you step foot on board and see the surroundings you will immediately feel a calming sensation. All you have to do is sit back, relax & make yourselves at home. The Captain and the Crew will look after you. As we set sail down the river you’ll be surrounded by stunning scenery, historical monuments, local fisherman and authentic Goan villages.
Take in the serenity and breathtaking views while doing a spot of bird/wildlife watching. So many species can be found here but it depends who’s playing out on the day. From Kingfishers, Fruit Bats, Sea Eagles & Brahminy Kites to Monkeys, Water Buffalo’s, Turtles or even Crocodiles you will not be disappointed to get a glance at any of them.
Enjoy the last rays of the day & watch the sun go down as we sail to where the river meets the sea for the most magical sunset. A delectable dinner will then be served. The crew will be serving up a banquet of local cuisine including Prawn Curry, Rice, Butter Chicken, Fried Fish, Cabbage, Dal, Salad & Bread along with free flowing beer, local spirits, soft drinks & water. No one will be going to bed hungry on this boat.
Wake up in the morning listening to the birds chirping away and water lapping against the boat while the crew prepare your breakfast. Spend the morning soaking up the sun or try your hand at fishing. Red Snapper, Silver Fish, Barracuda, Sea Bass & Lemon Fish are some of the fish that can be caught here and if you’re lucky enough to catch one the chef will cook it for lunch - it doesn’t get any fresher than that. The houseboat is a unique experience - a chance to get back to nature and see Goa in a different light.
