Wildernest Nature Resort is a hidden gem located in the Western Ghats on the border of Goa & Karnataka. Situated 800 meters above sea level the resort offers stunning landscapes and breathtaking views overlooking Swapnagandha Valley, perfect for nature lovers or anyone looking to escape from it all for a couple of nights. On entering the resort it’s like a scene from Jurassic Park, the excitement starts straight away as you are transported by open air lift up a steep slope into the reception. From the moment you step foot into the resort, you’ll be greeted with warm hospitality by our dedicated team who go above & beyond to ensure your stay is memorable.
The specially designed eco-huts (no ac, no TV, no fridge) are well furnished with big glass windows ensuring nature is always close by. Whether you’re sat on the balcony with a glass of wine or admiring the picturesque views from the comfort of your bed, the peace and tranquility will leave you spellbound.
The restaurant offers local cuisine cooked in traditional chulha’s which provides that extra flavour of being one with nature. A Chulha is an Indian cooking stove usually fueled by firewood, animal dung or crop residue, etc. With its warm and inviting ambience the Randhan Restaurant is the perfect setting to enjoy a meal with your loved ones, but beware of the cheeky monkeys who sometimes try to pinch your food!
How you spend your days here is entirely up to you. You can do as little or as much as you want. Join our trained nature guides on our Forest Treks, take part in a Pottery Class or come and have your Mehndi (Henna) done. This will also give you an opportunity to interact with other guests as well as learn about the traditional customs of the region from our team. Alternatively spend your days lazing around the incredible infinity pool with a beer or cocktail in your hand and be mesmerised by the spectacular views you are surrounded by.
The Wildernest is a slice of heaven on earth that has the WOW factor!
PLEASE NOTE: The paths around the resort are uneven and the steps to the cottages can be a bit steep so decent footwear is a must.
